Geely Galaxy Starshine 7 PHEV sedan broke covers with 4WD
The Geely Galaxy Starshine 7 plug-in hybrid sedan broke cover in China with a 4WD powertrain, a zero-to-hundred acceleration time of 5.4 seconds, and the G-Pilot H3 ADAS. It will enter the market shortly as it has completed cold-weather tests in the Arctic Circle.
The Geely Galaxy Starshine 7 sedan was first exposed by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in October 2025 during the homologation process, revealing core specs. In February 2026, this model completed the cold-weather tests in the Arctic Circle. On March 17, the company revealed official images and more specs of the Starshine 7.

Geely Galaxy officials disclosed that the Starshine 7 is a plug-in hybrid sedan with the e-AWD powertrain. This model speeds up to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds. At the same time, its fuel consumption is around 2 liters per 100 km. The Starshine 7’s chassis boasts a continuous damping system and a five-link suspension in the rear axle.

The interior of this PHEV sedan has a landscape-oriented floating touchscreen and an LCD instrument cluster. The center console adopts an orb-like digital interface, similar to the Nio’s Nomi. Other highlights of the cabin include a gear shifter behind the steering wheel, a wireless phone charging pad, and a block of physical buttons.
Another highlight of the Starshine 7 is the G-Pilot H3 assisted driving system. It adopts 11 cameras and 3 mm-wave radars. It is capable of performing the Navigate On Autopilot (NOA) function on urban roads and highways. It also supports automatic parking assistance.
Core specs of the Starshine 7
The Geely Galay Starshine 7 aligns with the previously launched Starshine 6 in terms of exterior styling. It has a large chrome-plated radiator grille, LED headlights, and a single taillight unit. The new model’s dimensions are 4958/1915/1505 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,852 mm. For clarity, it is 38 mm longer than the Toyota Camry.

The Starshine 7 adopts a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated BHE15-BFN engine with a peak power output of 82 kW (110 hp). There is no information about electric motors. The new sedan adopts two LFP battery options for 18.99 kWh and 28.3 kWh. Its electric range lies between 115 and 165 km under CLTC conditions.
The Geely Galaxy Starshine 7 will sit between the Starshine 6 and the Starshine 8 in terms of price range. We will remind you that the Starshine 6 costs 74,800 – 105,800 yuan (10,750 – 15,200 USD) in China. The Starhine 8 is priced between 125,800 and 165,800 yuan (18,100 – 23,800 USD). It means the Starshine 7 could possibly cost 100,000 – 150,000 yuan (14,490 – 21,680 USD) domestically.
