GM China auto sales down 2.7% in May

General Motors Co said May vehicle sales in China fell 2.7 percent from a year earlier, its second consecutive monthly decline amid a slowdown in the world’s largest auto market.

GM sold 190,674 vehicles in China last month, the company said in a statement. The figure compared with a year-earlier tally of 196,004 units according to company data.

In the first five months, the Detroit automaker sold 1,079,624 vehicles in China, up slightly from 1,032,665 units a year earlier. Via: ChinaDaily.
