This is the 2023 Jetour X70 Plus. Eight models are now available for pre-sale with a price range of 89,900 – 131,900 RMB (12,500 – 18,400 USD). The car offers four engine options: 1.5T+6MT、1.5T+6DCT, 1.6T+7DCT, and 2.0T+7DCT. Jetour is a brand established in 2018 by Chery.
The Jetour X70 Plus was first launched on October 18, 2020, on the Chinese market. Fun fact, the 2021 Jetour X70 Plus series had over 41 models launched!
The size of the car is 4749/1900/1720mm with a 2745mm wheelbase.
The front face adopts a large polygonal air intake grille. The sharp headlights look recognizable.
At the rear, the double exhaust on both sides further enhances the sportiness of the car.
The interior is classic with a large area covered in red leather material decorated with silver trim. The interior adopts a dual 10.25-inch screen setup. The central control screen is supported by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 chip. In terms of safety, the car is equipped with a level 2 driving assistance system that supports traffic speed limit recognition, blind spot monitoring, lane merge assist, adaptive cruise control, and driver fatigue reminder.
Other features include a panoramic sunroof, electric tailgate, remote control, driving recorder, wireless charging, seat heating & ventilation, and Hi-Fi Sony audio system.
The vehicle also supports apps including WeChat, Mango TV, and AutoNavi Map.
The car comes standard with a 5-seat layout. A 7-seat version in the form of a 2+3+2 layout is available for an optional fee of 3,000 RMB (418 USD).
The 2023 Jetour X70 Plus offers three power options. The 1.5T turbocharged engine has 115 kW and 230 Nm, matched with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 1.6T turbocharged engine has 145 kW and 290 Nm, matched with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 2.0T turbocharged engine has 187 kW and 390 Nm, matched with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
