The Chery Cowin 1 sedan has been on the China car market since May 2010, time so for an update. The facelifted QQ1 will get a redesigned front, new mirrors, some changes at the back and an updated interior. New Cowin 1 is expected to debut at the April 2012 Beijing Auto Show, price to start around 40.000 yuan.

Current Cowin 1. Cowin is yet another brand name from Chery, it is used for a range of the cheapest cars in tha house. The brand is called ‘Qiyun’ in Chinese, 旗云, lit.: ‘FlagCloud’. Engine for the current Cowin 1 is a 1.0 with 50kw and 93nm, the old engine will likely be used again in the facelifted Cowin 1.
