BYD F0 police car from China
In October last year police in the great city of Shenzhen in Guangdong Province started chasing thieves in 30 BYD F0 police cars. Funny indeed, considering this BYD F0 is a shameless 1:1 copy of the Toyota Aygo. In any other country but China BYD would have been punished, big time…

In China, they walk. This second pic is interesting because the censor blacked out all the lisence-plates. Are Chinese citizens now allow to know a police car’s plate? Why not, one wonders. The F0 now; power comes from a 1.04-cylinder that poops out 50kw and 90nm. Speed ain’t as slow as you might expect because its curb weight is only 870kg: top is a neat 151km/h, 0-100 takes 5.2 seconds. Price starts at 36.900 yuan and ends at 46.900 yuan.
