On May 18, Chery launched its 2025 Exlantix ES all-electric variant with 705 km and 710 km ranges, available in three trims, priced from 189,800 to 269,800 yuan (26,300 – 37,400 USD).

The 2025 Exlantix ES’ appearance has not changed much from the previous model, inspired by the “aesthetics of the wind”. The fog lights are composed of 372 white LEDs and 372 yellow LEDs, which can dynamically display a variety of LED signs such as charging, weather forecast, and pedestrians passing. The drag coefficient is 0.205 Cd.

At the same time, the body dimensions remain the same, measuring 4945/1978/1480 (1467) mm, with a wheelbase of 3000 mm. The curb weights are 2080 kg and 2250 kg.

The advanced driving assistance system has been upgraded to Chery’s Falcon Pilot (also called Cpilot). The entry-level trim comes with five millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 10 cameras, while the other two trims come with an additional roof lidar and two front cameras. The standard capabilities (Falcon 500) are highway navigation on autopilot and level 2 advanced driving assistance functions such as traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, and parking assistance. The trims with the roof lidar also support urban navigation on autopilot (Falcon 700).

Two trims are RWD and one is an AWD. All sit on an 800V high-voltage platform with 5C charging rate. For reference, the previous model offered 550 km, 605 km, 720 km, 905 km, and 650 km ranges.
