The Leapmotor D19 is the brand’s ultimate flagship model. It will enter the market in H1 2026 as the Stellantis-backed brand goes upmarket. This model was first revealed on October 16, available in BEV and EREV variants. On November 1, Leapmotor announced it had started taking blind preorders for the D19.

Blind pre-orders are a Chinese term referring to a car that can be reserved, but its official price is not disclosed. Customers who pay a deposit of 999 yuan (140 USD) will enjoy priority in expected delivery. The first 2,000 customers will be able to purchase the Signature Edition of the D19 crossover. This model will reveal the interior by the end of 2025. The market launch is scheduled for the first half of 2026.
As mentioned, there is no official price for the Leapmotor D19. This vehicle will rival other full-size crossovers, such as the Aito M9, the Li Auto L9, the Nio ES8, the Lynk & Co 900, and the Zeekr 9X. Chinese sources expect this vehicle to cost 250,000 – 300,000 yuan (35,160 – 42,190 USD). However, CarNewsChina expects this vehicle to be seemingly more expensive due to its specs.
