SGMW‘s Wuling Motors officially unveiled the latest addition to its Xingguang (Starlight) family, the Xingguang 560, today at the Guangxi Nanning ASEAN International Auto Show. The new SUV, available in four variants, is launched with an initial offer price ranging from 59,800 to 98,800 yuan (8,400 to 13,900 USD). The Xingguang 560 offers a diverse range of powertrain options, including gasoline, plug-in hybrid (PHEV), and pure electric (EV), alongside flexible 5-seater and 7-seater configurations.
The initial offer prices for the Wuling Xingguang 560 are as follows:
- 1.5T 6MT Comfort: 59,800 yuan (8,400 USD)
- 1.5T CVT Elite: 73,800 yuan (10,300 USD)
- PHEV 125km Luxury: 89,800 yuan (12,600 USD)
- EV 500km Luxury: 98,800 yuan (13,900 USD)
The vehicle measures 4745mm in length, 1850mm in width, and 1755/1770mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2810mm. Customers can choose from four body colours: Interstellar Blue, Sunset Grey, Silver Frost White, and Obsidian Black, with dual-tone options also available for a more dynamic look.

The front fascia varies by powertrain: gasoline and PHEV models feature an open honeycomb grille, complemented by black trim around the headlights and lower grille. The pure electric variant adopts a cleaner, closed-off grille, which offers a more integrated and streamlined appearance.

Inside, the Xingguang 560 continues the design language seen in other Xingguang series models, such as the Xingguang 730. It features a wrap-around cockpit with a dual-screen setup comprising an instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch central infotainment display. This central screen is powered by Wuling’s Ling OS system, supporting popular smartphone integration features like HiCar, CarLink, and DLNA. The cabin also utilises extensive soft-touch materials.

The Xingguang 560 offers both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations. The front seatbacks can recline flat, creating a continuous, comfortable space with the second row for temporary rest. The second-row seatbacks can recline up to 128 degrees, providing a more relaxed posture for long journeys. Additionally, the rear seats feature a conventional 4/6 split-fold, allowing for an expanded cargo area or accommodating longer items.
The Xingguang 560 offers three powertrain options, mirroring the Xingguang 730:
- Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV): Equipped with Lingxi Power 3.0, this system combines a 1.5L engine (boasting a thermal efficiency of 43.2%) with a fourth-generation 10-in-1 electric motor. It achieves a fuel consumption of 5.3L/100km when the battery is depleted. The CLTC pure electric range is 125km, with a combined range up to 1100km.
- Pure Electric (EV): This variant features an electric motor with a maximum power output of 100 kW (134 hp), paired with a 60 kWh Shenlian battery. It offers a CLTC pure electric range of 500 km and an official power consumption of 13.6kWh/100km. The EV model supports 2C fast charging, capable of adding 200km of range in 15 minutes.
- Gasoline: Powered by a 1.5T engine, this version delivers a maximum power of 130 kW (174 hp) and a peak torque of 290Nm. It is available with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT transmission.
All variants feature a front MacPherson strut and rear composite multi-link suspension system.
