Electric Ford Bronco off-road SUV entered China for 32,640 USD
The electric Ford Bronco off-road SUV from the JMC-Ford joint venture entered China with a starting price of 229,800 yuan (32,460 USD). This 5-meter model with 31 ADAS sensors and a peak power output of 310 kW (416 hp) is available with BEV and EREV powertrain variants.
The electric Ford Bronco was developed specifically for the Chinese market to compete with other NEV crossovers with off-road capabilities. It became available for preorders on November 18 with a price range between 229,800 and 282,800 yuan (32,640 – 40,160 USD). On December 19, the new Bronco started sales with the same MSRP.

The electric Ford Bronco aligns with the design language of the petrol-powered Bronco Sport. It has a squared body shape, large headlights, retractable headlights, and a LiDAR on the roof. Dimensions of this off-roader are 5025/1960/1825 mm. The wheelbase reaches 2,950 mm. The minimum ground clearance is 220 mm, while the approach and departure angles are 30 ° and 32°, respectively.
The Ford Bronco cabin adopts five seats. The top-trim version of this SUV offers electrically powered heated rear seats. The front chairs are heated & ventilated. The Bronco’s trunk has up to 497 liters of storage volume. Moreover, the BEV variant of this SUV has a front trunk for 160 liters.
The center console of the Ford Bronco has a 15.6-inch touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, and a 70-inch AR-HUD. The car offers a 7.5-liter fridge, 21 speakers, 10 airbags, and a panoramic sunroof. The infotainment system is powered by a Snapdragon 8255 chip. At the same time, the Bronco offers up to 31 sensors, powered by two Nvidia Orin X chips with a computing power of 508 TOPS.
Powertrain & prices
The Ford Bronco BEV has two electric motors with a combined power output of 332 kW (445 hp). They are powered by a 105.4 kWh LFP battery pack for 650 km of CLTC range. The EREV variant has a 1.5-liter ICE for 110 kW (148 hp) under the hood. It sends power to a 43.7 kWh BYD Blade battery pack for 220 km of CLTC range. Two e-motors generate 310 kW (416 hp). The mixed range reaches 1,220 km.
