Zeekr 8X PHEV official images released with up to 328 km pure electric range
On January 20, Zeekr released more images of its upcoming Zeekr 8X plug-in hybrid SUV that will be offered in five-seater and six-seater versions, and stands on the all-new SEA-S modular architecture. Its official launch is expected to be in the first half of this year.


In the front, the Zeekr 8X features a waterfall-style chrome grille design, paired with C-shaped headlights that composed of 25,368 diamond-shaped facets and a roof lidar. The bumper is further decorated with a chrome trim.
The Zeekr 8X runs on 255/55 R20, 255/50 R21, and 275/40 R22 tires, combined with red brake caliper.


In the rear, the full-width taillight is composed of 54,894 diamond-shaped facets and ultilizes 630 nm ultra-red light technology.

Additionally, electric side steps, conventional door handles, and an electrically retractable rear towing device are present. Its maximum towing capacity is 2,000 kg. Chrome trim can also be seen around the window frame.
Dimensionally, the Zeekr 8X measures 5100/1998/1780 mm (l/w/h), with a wheelbase of 3069 mm. Its wheel-to-body ratio is 1:4.


Power comes from a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system, with the same engine model as the Zeekr 9X, delivering a maximum power of 205 kW (275 hp), according to the Chinese MIIT. The ternary lithium battery pack capacities are 55.1 kWh and 70 kWh from the CATL-Geely joint venture, providing pure electric ranges of 256 km, 257 km, and 328 km (assuming under WLTC conditions). Its curb weights are 2,660 kg, 2,690 kg, 2,730 kg, 2,760 kg, 2,790 kg, and 2,820 kg.
Although the parameters of the electric motor have not yet been announced at this time, according to previous reports, the Zeekr 8X is expected to feature a three-motor megawatt electric drive system delivering 1,030 kW (1,381 hp) and 6C fast charging battery.
