Facelifted Mazda 6 hits the China auto market

The facelifted 1th generation Mazda 6 has been launched on the China auto market, price starts at 135.800 yuan and ends at 149.800 yuan. The 1st generation Mazda 6 is still in production in China, made by the FAW-Mazda joint venture that also makes the 2nd generation Mazda 6 which is called ‘Mazda 6 Rui Yi’ in China. The facelift for the 1st generation 6 includes a new grille, new head lights and new tail lights.

Engine remains the same, a Mazda 2.0 with 145hp and 183nm, mated to a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic. The 1st gen Mazda 6 is still a popular car in China, considered modern, and much cheaper than the Rui Yi which starts at 179.800 yuan.
