Chengdu Auto Show: facelifted Suzuki Alto debuts in China

The facelifted Suzuki Alto debuted today on the Chengdu Auto Show in China and it has been listed on the China auto market immediately. Price starts at 39.900 yuan and ends at 64.300 yuan. The facelift included a new front, some changes at the back and an updated interior.

The Suzuki Alto is made in China by the Chang’an-Suzuki joint venture that also makes the Swift and the SX4. Until only three years ago they also made the ancient first-gen Alto, a car that is by la way still in production in China today, now made by Jiangnan Auto. Engine for the facelifted Chang’an-Alto is a 1.0 liter 3-cylinder with 71hp and 92nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic.
