Toyota launched the new Vios for the Chinese market. It is made in China by Toyota’s joint venture with First Auto Works, FAW. Chinese motoring press is somewhat dissapointed with the Vios, they had expected a bogger change. “minimum investment for maximum profit”, one journalist said.

Changes are indeed small, a new Camry-like front and and some changes at the back. Dashboard got a bigger update with a new design and materials. Vios costs between 80.000 and 115.000 yuan, engines just as before: 1.3, 1.4 and 1.6.
