New Maserati Quattroporte hits the Chinese auto market

The new Maserati Quattroporte has been launched on the Chinese auto market, priced at 2.67 million yuan or 429.000 USD. Power comes from the new twin-turbocharged 523hp 3.8 liter V8, the 404hp V6 will be launched separately later this year. Maserati also announced it will open 10 new dealers in China this year, bringing the total to 35. Maserati will especially expand in second and third tier cities in western in central China where most automakers expect car sales to continue to accelerate very fast.
