Spy Shots: Chevrolet Cruze hatchback seen testing in China
New spy shots from the Chevrolet Cruze hatchback testing in China. The test car is completely camouflaged again, which seems a waste to time & trouble because we have already seen the Cruze hatchback in all its naked glory.The camo is likely hiding a facelift that will update the whole Cruze range. The facelifted Cruze and the Cruze hatchback are scheduled to debut on the Shanghai Auto Show later this month.
The Cruze hatchback is a new car for China, it will be made by the Shanghai-GM joint venture that also makes the Cruze sedan. Price of the sedan starts at 95.900 yuan and ends at 157.200 yuan. Engines: 117hp 1.6 and 147hp 1.8. The Cruze hatchback will get the same engines. Earlier on we heard a 1.4 would become available as well, but that engine seems off the table. Price for the Cruze hatchback will start around 80.000 yuan.
The facelifted Cruze debuted internationally on the 2013 Geneva Motor Show last month.
