Spy Shots: Mitsubishi Lancer hatchback pops up in China

Spy shots showing a factory fresh Mitsubishi Lancer hatchback in China. The Lancer hatchback will likely see local production in the not-too distant future. Hatchback are becoming more popular fast, especially among the young who get bored by sedans. Mitsubishi however, has not confirmed anything on the hatchback yet.

The Mitsubishi Lancer sedan is made in China by the SouEast-Mitsubishi joint venture. It is called ‘Lancer EX’ in China to differ it from the last-gen Lancer that is still in production. Price of the EX starts at 109.800 yuan and ends at 169.800 yuan. Engines: 136hp 1.8 and a 152hp 2.0.
