Spy shots showing JAC is working on a rather extensive facelift for the JAC Heyue sedan. The whole vehicle will get a makeover for a more classy and upmarket look. Most impressive is the grille section, with a fat chrome bar around the grille itself and another four chrome bars below the grille. Giant headlights and LED-like fog lights complete the picture.

The current JAC Heyue. Good looking, but not very classy. Price starts at 61.800 yuan and ends at 96.800 yuan. Engines: 113hp 1.5 and a 143hp 1.8, both mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. Engines and transmissions will continue in the facelifted Heyue and price will be about the same.

Huge JAC logo. New rear lights, new bumpers, new fog lights. Compare:

A touch of class inside as well. Basic layout of the dashboard is the same as before, but the materials and goodies are much better. Steering wheel is all-new. Large screen in the center console. But best: wood! In a JAC. Beautiful world…

No wood.

That is, just shiny enough.
