The Volkswagen Passat B6 is sold as ‘Magotan’ on the Chinese market and so will the new Passat B7. The ‘Passat’ name will be used for the China-made ‘American Passat‘, fka MMS. Earlier reports on the Chinese interwebs indicated that the Passat B7 would be stretched for China, by 10 or 14 centimeter.

Now a new spy shot has popped up showing the B7 testing in China, and it is the standard car, not stretched by any inch. VW might sell a stretched and a non-stretched B7 or they decided the standard car is big enough. We’ll keep you posted…
