The new Dongfeng Fengxing SX6 will be launched on the Chinese car market in July, price will start around 80.000 and end around 120.000 yuan. The Fengxing SX6, featuring a prominent grille with a lot of shine, will be positioned above the Fengxing S500 MPV.
The SX6 is an interesting mix between an MPV and an SUV, and the result is actually quite nice; a neat looking car with a strong boxy stance, helped by the black wheel arches. Sadly, the wheels are far too small. There will be two engines available, both sourced from PSA: a 1.6 with 117hp and 150nm, and a 2.0 with 138hp and 200nm. Both engines will be mated to a five-speed manual or a CVT.
Size: 4650/1820/1790, and wheelbase is 2750.
The SX6 seats seven in a 2/2/3 config.
The interior looks good with hip orange seats, a large touch screen in the center stack, and, somewhat oddly, a wood panel around the gear lever.

Taillight design is interesting with a white-light line around the entire unit. Units are connected with a red bar. Lower bumper with more shine and exhaust pipe tips.
