Citroen C3-XR Anniversary Edition Gets An 11.6 Inch Touch Screen And Some Glitter And Gold
Party time in China because the Dongfeng-PSA joint venture celebrates its 25th birthday. The joint venture makes Peugeots and Citroens for the Chinese car market. Therefore we will see a lot of 25 Anniversary specials this year, and the French kick off with the Citroen C3-XR. It gets an ultra larghe 11.6 inch touch screen and a lot of gold and glitter.
The system if fully copatible with iOS and Android operating systems, displaying your phone’s menu on the display, wireless! But I hope the screen will be clearer than this horrible press photo. The non-anniversary C3-XR only has a tiny 8 inch touch screen.
The birthday boy furthermore has gold lines in the headlights, a 25 Anniversary badge in the grille, gold mirrors and partially gold wheels. Now, that is a birthday, isn’t it?
Citroen doesn’t sell the edition as a separate model but as a package, but only for the 134hp 1.2 turbo, not for the 1.6 or for the 1.6 turbo. The package comes in two ways: only the glitter and gold: 4500 yuan. The gold plus the screen: 10.300 yuan. The 1.2 turbo retails from 127.800 to 149.800 yuan.
