Jetour X Electric Concept Car Unveiled In Beijing
This silver speedy is the new Jetour X concept car, unveiled one day before the start of the 2018 Beijing Auto Show. The X comes with a sharply lined body and an enormous black grille, with the Jetour name in white.
Jetour is a new brand under Chery Commercial Vehicle, a division of Chery Auto. The Chinese name of the brand is Jietu, best translated as ‘Victory Road’. Their first car is the Jetour X70, and they have plans for 10 cars more.
The Jetour X previews a full electric SUV that will be launched in 2020. It will be based on Chery’s new iPeL electric-vehicle platform. iPeL stands for: Intelligent, Platform, network new Energy, Light. The production version of the Jetour X will have a range of 500 kilometers. No other specifications were announced.
I love what they did with the taillights. Fiery!
Probably hard to mass produce, but it looks brilliant.
We will have another look at the X tomorrow at the show. We will be busy at Jetour anyway because they will also launch their new Jetour X90.
