Dongfeng working on a Hummer for the People
Last month I posted about how China got the Hummer. Dongfeng pretended to make a civilian version for political reasons but didn’t really do it. See the story here. New drawings however show Dongfeng is thinking about a civilian version anyway. Based on the EQ2050 but with a very different style, more like the Hummer H2 than the Humvee.
Not much is known about the vehicle yet, except that Dongeng will use a new petrol engine instead of the American diesels that power the military version.
