More Haval madness! This red lightning is the new Haval H4, as it debuted on the 2017 Guangzhou Auto Show. The car on show was the Red Label version, a Blue Label variant will be launched later. The H4 looks nice but very similar any other new Haval.
The new Haval H6 Coupe debuted on the 2017 Guangzhou Auto Show. The car on show is the Red Label version, the Blue Label variant will be launched later. It was called the ‘New H6 Coupe’, indicating it is the coupe version of the new H6.
There we go again. This new Haval was seen near the exhibition hall of the 2017 Guangzhou Auto Show where it will debut on Friday. It has a red Haval badge so it a Red Label car. At the back it has an H6 badge, but it isn’t an H6. So it is likely a variant of the H6.
Does it ever stop? It seems it won’t. Yesterday we explained in some detail how Haval is launching too many cars in the same price and size range. The reason was the arrival of the Haval H4. Today, one day later, we have news of yet another new Haval.
What do you do when you are a Chinese car maker that already sells too many cars that are far too similar in price in size? So many indeed that customers are totally confused and dealers park them outside on the pavement because they don’t have enough space inside?
Haval has the answer: add more cars. And they are doing just that with the new Haval H4. I will debut later this week in the Guangzhou Auto Show. Naturally, one H4 is not enough. So there are two: the H4 Red Label ad seen above and the H4 Blue label as seen below:
Today in One Minute Walk-around the The Haval H9, the largest SUV of the Haval brand, which is owned by China’s Great wall Motors. It is a massive car with a giant grille, side bars, and an off-road ready look.
The Haval H9 is 4.8 meters long and comes in 5 and seven-seat variants. There are two engines available: a 2.0 turbo diesel with 192 hp and a 2.0 turbo petrol with 252 hp. Haval is still working on a 3.0 twin-turbo V6 version that will have a massive 292 horses. We have been hearing about this engine for a year or so, but it still doesn’t seem finished yet. Price of the current lineup ranges from $31,000 and ends at $42,000 (prices in U.S. dollars converted from Chinese yuan).
The Haval M6 is an odd addition to the Haval lineup, which is odd in any way, with far too many cars that are similar in size and price. The M6 is a perfect example of the madness. It has been launched today as a sporty variant of the old H6. Price starts at 89.800 yuan and ends at 112.800 yuan.
News from Haval: they are going to launch a new SUV. That indeed is actually not news. It would be news if they were not going to launch an SUV. The latest in the endless series is this Haval M6, formerly known as the Haval H6.
Haval is working on yet another line of SUVs under the Haval H4 name. It will consist of the H4 Red Label, the H4 Blue Label, the H4S Red Label, and the H4S Blue Label. The H4S Red Label is the car on the photo. It is based on the same platform and has largely the same body as the WEY 02 SUV.
Haval just can’t stop themselves. They have launched the new H6, a mid-size SUV. The new H6 comes in two kinds: the H6 Red Label, the blue car, and the H6 Blue Label, see below. The new H6 shares its platform with the upcoming WEY 02. The current H6, Haval’s best selling model, continues as if there is no new H6. So now we have two H-sixes.
