The Geely-Emgrand EX9 full size suv is ready to hit the market. The production version of the Emgrand EX9 will very likely debut at the Shanghai Auto Show in April. Engine is a big 3.5 litre V6 with 204kw and 346nm, developed by Geely itself. Next gen EX9 can have Volvo engines, if Geely doesn’t out-engineer the Swedish by that time. All Volvo’s could get Geely engines then…

The EX9 is a big car, perfectly suited for the SUV-hungry Chinese market. Size: 4800x1870x1810, wheelbase is 2850. The EX9 will come loaded with goodies and very cheap, price will likely start around 260.000 yuan.
