Four small shots of the new Chery Cowin 5, the successor of the Chery Eastar/Oriental Sun. Some say those names won’t come back anymore, others say they will but only for export. We will see, for know only Chery knows.., or maybe the don’t know yet either.

Chery uses the Cowin-brandname for its cheapest cars, the range is expanding rapidly. The Cowin 5 gets a 1.8 litre engine mated to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed auto. Price will start around 80.000 yuan. The Cowin 5 will debut at the Shanghai Auto Show next month.
