The new Volkwagen Passat B7 will come to China. It will be sold as ‘Magotan’ just like the current Passat B6. The Magotan B7 will be made in China by the FAW-VW joint venture. the name ‘Passat’ will be used for the ‘American’ Passat (fka MMS) which will be made in China too. The made-in-China B7 will have a streched wheelbase for the chauffeur-driven Chinese market. Stretched by how much is the question, some reports say by 10 centimeter, others by 14.
