BMW currently ony imports the 1-series 4-door hatchback to China. That however will change soon, the Germans will add the coupe and convertible to the line. Both again as imports, BMW thinks the market for this kind of vehicles is too small to invest in local production and about that BMW is very right indeed. The 1-hatch starts at 270.300 yuan in China, price of the new cars will be some 30.000 north of that. Debut expected summer 2011.
