Only last week Saab and Hatwai (Huatai in Chinese) decided to work together. One week later this pic of the new Saab 9-5 at a Hawtai dealer, parked next to a Baolige SUV. Those men work fast! The 9-5 arrives as an import and Saab will use Hawtai’s dealer network for distribution.

We hear conflicting news about the price for the new 9-5. Some media say price will start at 350.000 yuan which seems a little too low, other media say price will start around 480.000 yuan. We’ll keep you posted on that one.

Updated: the 9-5 was not at a Hawtai dealer but at the parking lot of the Westin Hotel in Beijing for  a Hawtai event.
