One week ago we saw the first supposedly leaked pics of the new BYD F3. It ain’t however 100% sure the pics show the real thing so today we have a bunch of brand-new spy shots from an almost naked new BYD F3 testing in China. Debut is expected at the April 2012 Beijing Auto Show.

Proportions are very similar to current F3. Changes are up front, at the back and in the interior. Engines: there will be a 1.8 mated to a 5-speed manual, a 1.5 turbo mated to a 6-speed manual, a 1.5 turbo mated to a DCT and a 1.5 turbo ‘dual-mode’ hybrid. The current F3 costs between 47.800 yuan and 66.900 yuan. Price for the new car will be about the same.

Dash development seems unfinished yet. Lot of buttons on the wheel. Manual gearbox here.
