Spy Shots: Chery-Riich X3 testing in China
New spy shots from the upcoming Chery-Riich X3, a new SUV based on the Chery Tiggo. The Riich X3 however will be positioned higher and compete with cars such as the Greatwall H6. Debut is expected at the Beijing Auto Show in April.

The Chery-Riich X3 seems to be a fine looking vehicle with a strong shoulder-line. And yez they can use the ‘X3’-name, in China that is OK. They can however not use ‘BMW X3’. Power comes from Chery’s own 1.8L and 2.0L DVVT engines. The 1.6 S supercharged engine is under consideration for the cool ‘n fast. Price will start around 110.000 yuan.
