Chery Karry Youyou extended edition listed & priced in China
Karry is a sub-brand from Chery, they make small minivans that can transport everything from eggs to beer. The Youyou is Karry’s best-seller. Karry now wants a slice of a new market-segment in China: cheap-mini-MPV. Earlier this week we saw the debut of the Chang’an Ounuo MPV aimed at the same segment.

The Youyou however was a bit too small for that and is therefore extended. It is 43.7 centimeters longer and its wheelbase grew by 20 centimeters. That indeed means more overhang, in this case at the back. Price, there is only one, is 42.800 yuan. Power comes from a tiny 1.2 that poops out 50kw and 90nm, good for a 120km/h top speed.
