The Dongfeng-Honda Ciimo debuted at the Beijing Auto Show and was listed on the Chinese car market at the same time. Ciimo is a sub-brand from the Dongfeng-Honda joint venture, their first car is based on the old Honda Civic and simply called ‘Ciimo’. The line-up will later be expanded with a Ciimo SUV based on the old Honda CR-V.

Price of the Ciimo-Ciimo starts at 111.800 yuan and ends at 119.800 yuan, and that is not too cheap for a rebadged old Civic! Power comes from Honda’s 1.8 with 140hp, mated to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic. There will be a 2.0 available in the future but that will push the price up even further. Ciimo will use the existing Dongfeng-Honda dealer-network, when the line-up gets bigger however Ciimo might open its own dealers in China.
