Chang’an Raeton debuts at the Beijing Auto Show
The Chang’an Raeton debuted earlier this week at the Beijing Auto Show and what a fine car this is, no doubt the best looking Chang’an so far and one of the best looking China-made cars as well. The Raeton will hit the Chinese car market near the end of this year, price is expected to range from 100.000 to 160.000 yuan.
Power for the Raeton, Ruicheng in Chinese, comes from a 1.8 turbo that poops out 174hp and 240nm or a 2.0 with 152hp and 192nm. The 1.8 turbo is mated to a six-speed tiptronic transmission, the 2.0 to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic. Size: 4920/1825/1500, wheelbase is 2800. Big car for the money, Chang’an has to try really hard to make a miss with this one…
