The new Ford Focus finally made it to the China car market last week. This however doesn’t mean the old Focus is gone. It isn’t, it is back as the ‘Ford Focus Classic’, priced between 99.800 and 123.800. The Focus Classic got a new bumper, new headlights, a slightly different grill and is as good as new again…

Recycling older cars when a new one is on the market already is perfectly normal in China, especially when a model still sells well. The Focus Classic is only available with a 1.8 pooping out 91kw and 161nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or to a four-speed automatic. The Classic will likely stay around for another two years. The new Ford Focus and the Ford Focus Classic are made in China by the Chang’an-Ford joint venture.
