Spy shots from the facelifted Suzuki Jimny, it will debut on the Chinese car market in the second half of this year. Biggest changes are up front with a new grill, lights and bumper. Cool looking air vent on the bonnet is also new. The Jimny is imported into China and sold via the dealer network from the Chang’an-Suzuki joint venture.

The current Suzuki Jimny. The Jimny has an interesting customer base, as far as I can see. I know two persons here in Beijing who own one. Both are unmarried women between 35 and 40 years old. I wonder whether this was Suzuki’s target… Price starts at 139.000 yuan and ends at 158.000 yuan. Only engine is a lousy old 1.3 with 85hp.
