Chery TX SUV to see production in China
When the Chery TX SUV debuted as a concept at the Beijing Auto Show in April many said it was the best looking Chinese-designed SUV ever. Chery listened and has decided to build it. Production will start in late 2013, sure toned down a bit but hopefully not too much.
The Chery TX is actually designed by James Hope, an Englishman working for Chery, who clearly had a very good day when he created this SUV. Strangely Chery decided to paint the concept car in a rather boring brown color. How much better would it look in red or white. The TX will be powered by a 2.0 TGDI turbo that poops out 193hp and 190nm, mated to a CVT bringing power to all four wheels. Size: 4465/2082/1670, wheelbase is 2825.
