Spy Shots: new Chery Cowin 2 is losing Camouflage in China
The best spy shots so far of the new Chery Cowin 2, code named Chery A16, which will be launched on the Chinese car market next year. The new Cowin 2 is the successor of the current Chery Cowin 2 that is based on the ancient Seat Toledo. The A16 will likely be sold under the ‘Chery’ brand name as well, possibly as the Chery A2.
Not a bad looking car, at all. Power comes from two second generation Chery-developed ACTECO engines; a 1.2 mated to a five-speed manual or a 1.4 mated to a CVT. The old 1.5 that powerd the current Cowin 2 will not return. Price of the new car will start just under 50.000 yuan.
