Great Wall makes two variants of the Haval H5; the H5 ‘European Style’ and the H5 ‘Zhizun’. The latter will be facelifted, and launched on the Chinese car market in the first quarter of next year. The facelift included new head lights, a new bumper, new fog lights, a slightly different grille, new rear lights and an updated dashboard.
The current Great Wall Haval H5 Zhizun. Price ranges from 113.800 yuan to 163.800 yuan. Engines: 2.0 turbo and 2.4. Both engines will continue and price will be about the same. The 2.4 dated back to a Mitsubishi design from the 1980’s, the engine has been cloned extensively by small Chinese automakers. It has only 150hp, it is dirty, it is thirsty, but it is very cheap. A 2.5 turbo-diesel is available for the countryside.
Eye-catching grille becomes even more eye-catching. Chrome is King in China!
