A very interesting BYD F0, seen by reader Holger in Shanghai, thanks for the pictures! The fine minicar is dressed up like a matte purple Batmobile with a 1.8 liter turbocharged engine. Very nice work, especially the Batman badge and the plastic-fantastic body kit. No license plates, Batman don’t need, because everybody knows Batman.

This BYD is a tiny bit wider than the base F0, which is powered by a powerless 1.0 three-cylinder. A 1.8 would indeed be a lot more fun but in this case it is just a 10 yuan badge. Matte purple wrap is applied smoothly and covers bumpers, mirrors, door handles and the wing on the roof. Strangely the combination BYD F0-Batman seems popular, earlier on we met a kinda similar vehicle, in green, in Beijing.
