Mini Countryman Ski Edition hits the Chinese car market

The Mini Countryman Ski Edition has been launched on the Chinese car market, priced at 415.000 yuan. The Ski Edition is based on the Countryman Cooper S and is limited to 30 cars for the whole of China. Special thingies: pepper-red paint job, snow-like stickers, black head lamps, extra fog lights fore the grille, black alloys and… a ski rack without skis.

The Mini Countryman Ski Edition is designed for, here it comes, “skiing enthusiasts”. Yez, Mini really said that. The standard Mini Countryman Cooper S costs exactly the same 415.000 yuan as the Ski Edition, which so is a very good deal, if you dig an empty ski rack and snow stickers. Earlier special editions always sold out in China, no matter how weird, so I guess 30 of these idiotic cars will find 30 idiotic buyers. Now, let’s get up mountain!
