Spy Shots: facelift for the Kia Forte in China

The first kinda clear spy shot of the facelifted Kia Forte, it will be launched on the Chinese car market early next year, debut is expected for the Shanghai Auto Show in April. The facelift includes a new grille, new head lights, new rear lights, new bumpers and an updated interior.

The current Kia Forte, made in China by the Dongfeng-Yueda-Kia joint venture. Price starts at 98.800 yuan and ends at 122.800 yuan. Lone engine is a 1.6 with 123hp. The more expensive variants of the Kia Forte with the 2.0 liter engine have been killed to make room for the new Kia K3. The Forte continues as a budget alternative but it won’t last much longer than two years.
