Spy Shots: Chery E3 testing in China

New spy shots of the upcoming Chery E3 sedan, seen road testing in southern China. The Chery E3, formerly known by its code name Chery A19, will be launched on the Chinese auto market in the second quarter of this year, debut is expected for the Shanghai Auto Show in April.

The Chery E3 will be positioned between the Chery E2 and Chery E5. Price will range from 60.000 to 80.000 yuan. Power will come from a 1.5 with 108hp, mated to a five-speed manual. Size: 4450/1748/1493, wheelbase is 2570. Chery is working on a hatchback variant of the E3, and a cheaper Cowin-branded version will hit the market late this year.
