The very first pictures of the facelifted FAW-Besturn B50 arriving at the exhibition hall for the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show where it will debut on Saturday. The facelifted Besturn B50 got a completely new front with trendy LED-lights, a new grille and a new bumper.

The current Besturn B50, price starts at 68.800 and ends at 125.800 yuan. Lone engine is a 1.6 with 106hp and 145nm, mated to a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic. Engine will continue in the facelifted Besturn B50 and price will be about the same.

The Besturn B50 is based on the old Mazda 6 that is still in production by the FAW-Mazda joint venture, and the engine comes from the Volkswagen Bora which is made by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture. Besturn certainly knows how to make an interesting mix.

Side profile unchanged. Slightly larger wheels look very good. Design of the rear seems new as well but we have to wait for more pictures to be sure.
