Spy Shots: facelifted Chevrolet Sail testing in China

World exclusive spy shots showing Chevrolet is working on a facelift for the Sail in China. The camouflaged sedan was seen near Shanghai by reader Chiprdan, thank you for the pictures! The facelift seems to include new headlights, new rear lights, and some changes at the bumpers.

The current Chevrolet Sail sedan, made in China by the Shanghai-GM joint venture. Price starts at 56.800 yuan and ends at 79.300 yuan. Engines: 1.2 liter four-cylinder with 86hp and a 1.4 liter four-cylinder with 102hp. The latest facelift was in 2012, and the current model debuted in 2010. The Sail is thus becoming a rather old car, a facelift will keep it alive for another two years top.

The Chevrolet Sail was designed and engineered by the Pan-Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC), a vehicle development center under the Shanghai-GM joint venture.
