Spy Shots: Volkswagen Cross Lavida is Naked in China

The first spy shots showing the new Volkswagen Cross Lavida all-naked in China. The Cross Lavida is a cross-themed variant of the Volkswagen Gran Lavida that was launched on the Chinese car market in late June. The Cross Lavida will be made in China by the Shanghai-Volkswagen joint venture.

The cross treatment includes black plastic around the bumpers, black plastic around the wheels, some sporty strips here and there, a roof rack and slightly bigger tires. The Cross Lavida will only be available with the 130hp 1.4 liter turbo. Cross vehicles are still very popular in China where young people like to show they go to the mountains each weekend, even if they never really go.
