The Suzuki SX4 S-Cross will be launched on the China car market late this year. Production of the SX4 S-Cross in China will start around October. The SX4 S-Cross is aimed squarely at the successful Nissan Qashqai.

The SX4 S-Cross will be made in China by the Chang’an-Suzuki joint venture. The Nissan Qashqai is made in China by the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture.

The Suzuki SX4 S-Cross will be powered by 1.6 and 1.8 liter petrol engines. It has nothing to do with the existing Suzuki SX4 hatchback, that is made in China by Chang’an-Suzuki as well. The SX4 S-Cross is a much larger vehicle based on the platform that also underpins the Kizashi sedan.
