This is the new Honda Jade MPV, seen all-naked in China. The Honda Jade will be launched on the China car market on September 6, price will start at 149.800 yuan. The Honda Jade will be made in China by the Dongfeng-Honda joint venture.
The Honda Jade debuted last on the Shanghai Auto Show in April. The Jade is design-wise based on the Honda Concept S that debuted on the 2012 Beijing Auto Show, and technically based on the platform of the third generation Honda Stream.
The Honda Jade will be powered by a 1.8 liter four-cylinder with 141hp and 174nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT. A 2.0 liter four-cylinder will join the line-up next year. Earlier on we heard about the possibility of a hybrid variant, but new reports indicate a hybrid won’t happen.
Size: 4660/1775/1500, wheelbase is 2760.
Dash very techy with all kinds of driver-distracting screens and digital stuff. Who nees a hybrid with a dash like this..?
The back has enough space for a pretty Chinese girl.
