Published on July 26, 2013 by W.E. Ning
New spy shots showing the production version of the Haval H2 SUV all-naked in China. The Haval H2 debuted as a concept on the Shanghai Auto Show in April, and last month we saw the patent application. The production car is expected to debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November.
Large impressive grille with loads of chrome, perfectly in line with the latest trend tending to more Bling. Haval doesn’t have a real logo yet so they just splash this sorta name-badge all-over the car, looking odd. Price of the Haval H2 will range from 90.000 to 110.000 yuan. The Haval H2 will compete with fine cars such as the Chery Tiggo and the Geely GLEagle GX7.
There will be two engines available: a 1.5 liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 150hp and 210nm, and a 1.5 liter four-cylinder with 105hp and 138nm, both mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT. Size: 4330/1815/1700, wheelbase is 2650.
Huge screen in the center console. Manual gearbox here. Red panic-button to switch off all electrics in case something gos very wrong in this flashy white test car.
