Chang’an Eado XT hits the China car market
The Chang’an Eado XT hatchback has been launched on the China car market. Price starts at 77.900 yuan and ends at 119.900 yuan. The Eado XT debuted on the Shanghai Auto Show in April, it is based on the Chang’an Eado sedan that was launched in March 2012.
There are two engines available: a 1.5 turbo with 170hp and 230nm, mated to a 6-speed automatic, and a 1.6 with 125hp and 160nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic. Size: 4425/1815/1485, wheelbase is 2660.
Chang’an has serious plans to export the Eado and Eado XT to Europe in the not-too-far future, both cars will be present at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September alongside the new CS75 SUV.
Beautiful lines at the back, especially around the C-pillar and the rear lights. Arguably one of the best looking Chinese cars ever.
Sporty interior with racy dials, large screen for the infotainment system and some trendy alu-accents.
