The very first spy shots of the stretched variant of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class for the China car market. Wheelbase will be extended with 100 millimeter to 2900 for more space for the passengers in the back. The C-Class is made in China by the Beijing-Benz joint venture. Debut of the stretched variant is scheduled for the April 2014 Beijing Auto Show.

Above the Euro-made C, below the China-made C. The arrows are pointing at the door handle here but the difference is easier to see by looking at the roof line behind the B-pillar. The Chinese C-Class will be available as 1.6T, 2.0T and 3.0T. The stretched C will compete with other China-made China-only stretched saloons such as the Audi A4L, the BMW 3Li, and the Volvo S60L.
